Williams Sound FM Transmitters

• There are 2 types of FM Transmitter. We call them Portable Transmitters and Table-Top Transmitters.
• Portable transmitters are also called Body-Pack, Whisper or Tourguide Transmitters.
• Portable transmitters are mostly used for Tourguide and Translation purposes. Table-Top Transmitters are used for Assisted Listening or Translation.
• For Translation or Tourguide use, you will need to add a microphone. For Assisted Listening, you generally will not need a mic.
• You will need to buy receivers to go with the transmitter.
• A Transmitter can serve any number of Receivers, as long as they are within range.
• Portable Transmitters have a range of about 150ft. Table-Top Transmitters have a range of up to 1000ft.
• Some Williams Sound Table-Top Transmitters now include the ability to transmit to smartphones over your wi-fi system!
• Williams Sound transmitters are covered by a limited lifetime warranty. Microphones and other accessories are warrantied for 90 days.
